I’ve been working with Joe for nutrition coaching since January, after my husband started with him in November and it has been life changing.

I honestly can’t recommend Joe highly enough.
I've been training with Joe for the best part of a year now and it's been brilliant. He's a really knowledgeable personal trainer and I've made really great progress with him via our weekly and then twice weekly sessions. Joe's PT sessions focus on different muscle groups each week and use all kinds of equipment (or no equipment) so every session is different and fun. Joe has provided nutritional advice (to the extent that I've lost over 15% of my bodyweight and am heading towards a healthy weight for the first time in about 10 years), including macro recommendations and a weekly weigh in. Finally, he's also now started a weekly Thursday evening running club - which is a lot of fun! Highly recommend!
I've been training with Joe for a couple of years now. I'd highly recommend him as trainer - he's emotionally intelligent and extremely good at working out how to motivate his clients. As a result sessions with him are always really enjoyable, even when they're really hard work!

I have trained with a lot of PTs over the years and Joe is easily number 1. Literally the best decision I've made was to turn up to that consultation, despite all my anxiety around gym spaces. Right from the start he was supportive, reassuring, and just so enthusiastic about my goals. I looked forward to every session, felt able to relax and have a laugh throughout, and ALWAYS felt motivated no matter how hard it got. I've had to take a break for financial reasons, but I hope to train with Joe again soon. He's the best!

I cannot recommend the 60 day challenge enough, the whole process from start to finish had been incredible. The support from Joe really helped to me to understand my relationship with food and how to improve it. I have tried diets before where I was alway hungry and felt what I could eat was restricted but this was not like that. The peer support when I was having a bad day really helped and I got some great ideas of new recipes to try. Everything I learnt from the challenge is something i know I can maintain long term.

I started working with Joe, as I was really struggling to lose weight. All the tricks I used when I was younger didn’t work. I felt really defeated and was consistently putting on weight with my HRT treatment and felt bloated and uncomfortable . But Joe has saved the day! I couldn’t believe the results and actually started feeling more myself. His plan is accessible and manageable. And can merge into everyone’s diet, so you are not having to make separate meals. I never thought it would be possible to shift those stubborn pounds. With Joe’s coaching and understanding I feel it is all achievable. I have taken part in Joe’s 60 day weight loss challenge, which has 2 days left to run! I am delighted to say I have lost 10 pounds+. Initially, I was apprehensive as I thought I would be constantly hungry and find it very difficult to follow the programme, as I have a very busy work and social life. I can honestly say, that during the programme, with good choices, I haven’t been hungry at all. The programme has educated me to understand which foods I can eat more of, and which to have as a treat. I haven’t completely stopped eating anything. One of the most important elements of the programme was the support Joe gave me when things weren’t going well. It was easy after weeks I had lost weight, but when I was struggling, Joe was there with words of encouragement and honesty to get me back on track without beating myself up for managing to continue to enjoy life whilst losing weight. I can see myself easily maintaining my weight loss as I now have the knowledge to do so. Thanks Joe.
This program has been life changing for me. I have spent most of my life overweight, / on a diet and battling my overeating. Joe has given me the tools to understand nutrition like I have never had before and now I feel so empowered to keep losing weight. I have seen the weight fall off, where previously getting to this level of weight loss would have been a huge effort, it doesn't seem so hard now. Joe has not only helped me to lose 10kg in just 8 weeks, but he’s also helped me to lose the negative, unhealthy and unproductive mindset that I used to have. ‘I’ll start the diet/gym on Monday’ is a thing of the past - instead I’m taking small, but constant, steps each and everyday to reach my goals and be the best that I can both physically and mentally. Training remotely with Joe has been a saving grace for me throughout the Covid lockdown and beyond. My goals in exercise are primarily to maintain good mental health and energy levels, with improved physical strength as a bonus. Joe is supportive and encouraging and I appreciate the flexibility he gives me whilst having the benefit of accountability. Thanks Joe!

I hate gyms, find it difficult to stick to plans for any amount of time but I'm keen to improve my fitness and body shape. Since working with Joe remotely and in the gym I've been able to stick to the plan and hit my goals. Joe has built a programme that keeps me motivated and addresses my specific fitness and body-shape goals. He's a nice guy too:)

I’ve taken part in two of Joe’s 60 Day Weight Loss Challenges and have lost 2 stone to date (with a way to go yet!) For the first time in my life I feel like I am making steady progress in getting down to a healthy weight, but more importantly I feel like I am making long term, sustainable changes to my life that means I will be able to maintain and manage my weight going forward. Joe is an incredible support; positive and unjudgemental and he really supports you with ways of making weight loss feasible within the boundaries of real life. I’m finding I’m not hungry and I’m happier, healthier, have a more positive relationship with all foods (no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods!) and I have a better understanding of the science behind my weight loss. I find the support of the group and weekly check in with Joe a huge motivation to stay on track and there is an option for training challenges alongside the weight loss challenge. I cannot rate Joe highly enough!
This is going to sound very cheesy but Joe and his program changed my life. I have struggled with my weight for years and have tried lots of other 'weight loss' packages. One of best friends joined Joe's 60 day challenge programme last year and could not stop talking about how amazing it was. I now know why. I joined Joe's 60 day challenge in September 2021. From the start I loved it and Joe is so motivating and encouraging. During our weekly meetings, there was never any blame or disapproval if weight had been gained or not as much weight was lost as expected. Instead, Joe encourages you to think about your food choices and recondition yourself to stop thinking that certain foods are 'good' or 'bad'. You learn to understand the value of all food groups and macronutrients whilst maintaining a healthy calorie deficit. After finishing the first 60 day challenge in September, I joined the next one in November! I have lost just over 12kg in 120 days. However, more than that, I have changed my relationship with food, changed the way I view my body and understand that exercise is about moving your body and improving your mental health-not just about earning food or burning off calories. I recommend Joe to everyone!
I initially contacted Joe about strength and conditioning to support running, however since I started PT sessions with Joe in July I haven't actually done much running! Not Joe's fault (!), it's been down to injuries that had been brewing due to my previous lack of strength and conditioning and a good 12 months or so of not looking after myself (thanks pandemic). I know the work with Joe is and will support my running once I can properly get going again, but actually the sessions have been about way more than that. I was feeling pretty down on what my body could do when I messaged Joe and that was having an impact on my mental health too. Over the last six months or so, working with Joe I have felt so much better about myself. I feel strong again and happy with what my body can do.
I'm not very disciplined and will always take the easy route, but Joe keeps me on track. He's encouraging, positive and knowledgeable and doesn't mind when I forget what it was I was meant to be doing (or at least he doesn't let it show :))

Midway through the 60 day weight loss challenge with Joe and it’s changed my relationship with food and exercise. For the first time I’m consciously thinking about what I eat yet never feel hungry and am losing weight. Joe’s approach is 100% supportive and positive, he has an eye on the detail and will challenge you in a way that motivates you towards your goal.

Encouraging someone to commit to their training is one thing, genuinely inspiring someone to want to be there - Joe has this in spades. From someone who was exercise shy, and not in a good place when I met Joe, and having never stepped into a gym before - I was apprehensive and anxious. Fast forward a little while, I now go to the gym a couple of times a week and always look forward to seeing Joe! Joe will immediately put you at ease. He’s fully present for you, and I have found he has supported me not only in fitness but my general and overall wellness: physically, mentally and emotionally. He listens to what you want and where you want to get to. He will get you there. Trust me! I’m training for my first triathlon within a year of working with him. One of the greatest things about Joe is that it never, ever seems like it’s about the destination- you just enjoy the journey so much. I ticked all our success boxes in 6 months and so, at the point I’d normally walk away from something because I’d achieved what I’d set out to do, I set some harder ones. Joe makes you believe you can do it.
Having just completed the 12 week course I cannot recommend it highly enough. Not only did I achieve way more in respect of weight loss than I was expecting but I also significantly changed my body shape. I learned so much about diet and exercise through the course and now feel equipped to understand what I need to do going forward to maintain my weight loss and also understand what my body needs to stay fit and healthy. Clear exercise routines and recipes made the programme easy to follow and Joe was always available and on hand to provide advice whenever I required it. I can honestly say that the course has changed my life and I would absolutely recommend it

Joe’s 60 day challenge and can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I found Joe to be an exceptionally motivating coach, a real expert and someone who is always fully engaged with his clients. The programme he offered was very thoughtfully designed and the results for me personally but also others on the challenge were outstanding both in terms of weight loss and other well-being indicators such as heart rate and sleep quality. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Joe’s weight loss programme has enabled me to lose 17kg! I completed the 60 day weight loss challenge with Joe during which I lost weight and became fitter and stronger. I have since stayed with Joe for nutritional guidance and support. I've tried many Weight loss programmes in the past, but I've never had a plan made so personal to me or worked with a trainer/nutritionist so engaged and supportive. I highly recommend Joe.
I would highly recommend Joe as a PT (virtual at that). I've lost 2 stone following on from his 60 day weightloss challenge, with his extensive support and expertise. I have done this all virtually through his training app and online zoom meetings. Working out is now medicinal, it's the best thing to come out of 2020. Joe really made me BELIEVE in myself.

I took part in a 60 day weight loss challenge with Joe. It was definitely a challenge but I lost the weight I needed to thanks to great support. I went from zero physical activity to doing it five times a week with very noticeable results, not just in the way I looked but how I felt and my overall outlook on wellbeing. Joe is positive, personable and motivated me when I thought I had heard it all. A big thumbs up from me.
Joe is great. He has such a warm positive manner. He obviously spends a lot of time and energy planning his classes, resulting in a great mix of exercises, building strength and stamina, delivered in an authoritative and fun way. If you want well structured workouts with a brilliant coach I highly recommend Joe.

Joe is an amazing PT - I went from never exercising to loving it and I completed the 10k Marine Commando Challenge last year, which I never would have done was it not for him. Joe is really patient and really listens to you and changes things up if something isn’t working for you. He also is a good laugh which was needed on those very early mornings when the last thing I wanted to do was go to the gym. What’s most impressive is that whilst I only trained with him for 3 months, the results have lasted for over 2 years because he fundamentally changed how I view exercise and nutrition. It was a slow and steady progress to my target weight but I feel more confident now than I’ve ever felt.
